INTRODUCTION

Welcome to freepdfcombiner.net (the "Service"), operated by Céca Studio LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and PDF merging services.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

USERS ACCOUNTS

  • Account Creation: To access most features of our Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

  • Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

    • A breach of these Terms.

    • The creation of multiple accounts to exploit our free service tier or circumvent usage limits.

    • Engaging in any activity that is fraudulent, abusive, or illegal.

USERS GENERATED CONTENT

  • Content Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of all intellectual property rights to the files you upload and the final merged documents you create using our Service ("Your Content").

  • Our License to Your Content: By using our Service, you grant Céca Studio LLC a limited, temporary, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the PDF merging service to you. This license terminates automatically when your files are deleted from our servers.

  • Acceptable Use Policy: You agree not to use the Service to upload, merge, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision.

Free & Premium Services

  • Free Service: Our Free Service allows users to perform a limited number of merge operations as specified on our website (currently two (2) total merges per account).

  • Premium Service: We offer a premium subscription ("Premium Plan") that provides unlimited access to our merging tools and other advanced features as described on our pricing page.

Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

  • Billing: By purchasing a Premium Plan, you agree to pay the specified fees. All fees are billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or yearly basis, depending on the subscription plan you select.

  • Automatic Renewal: At the end of each Billing Cycle, your subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or Céca Studio LLC cancels it. You may cancel your subscription renewal through your "My Account" page or by contacting Stripe's customer portal.

  • Price Changes: Céca Studio LLC, in its sole discretion and at any time, may modify the subscription fees. We will provide you with at least ninety (90) days prior notice of any change in subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your subscription before such change becomes effective.

  • Refund Policy: We offer a refund for our Premium Plan if the request is made within fifteen (15) minutes of the original purchase. After this period, subscription fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.

Service Availability & Limitation of Liability

  • Service Availability: We strive to make the Service available 24/7 with an uptime of 99.9%. However, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any downtime caused by maintenance, technical issues, or other events beyond our control.

  • Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Service.

  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Céca Studio LLC, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising out of your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the last three (3) months.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in New York City, New York, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

Changes to These Terms

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
